The Groggy Dogs

Sailing the across the Sea from their home Port in Seville we are delighted to host The Groggy Dogs for the first time playing the Festival.

A band that fuses punk, metal 'n ska wit' sea shanties 'n traditional Celtic melodies, deliverin' a forceful 'n fun sound that invites ye t' dance 'n party wit' a few jugs o' grog. An unknown plague was sweepin' the whole world when The Cap'n, marooned, realizin' that his supplies were diminishin', decided t' embark on a new adventure in search o' ports t' plunder. He knew that his guitar 'n his grog-worn voice wouldna be enough t' navigate through the roarin' seas 'n winds so he united the crew: The Voodoo Witch 'n its magical violin melodies, The Cook who wit' his secret recipes cooks charmin' bass lines, The Buccaneer who wit' the strength o' his accordion makes the lootin' t' be remembered, 'n The Deadman who wit' the rhythm o' his drums maintains the morale o' the crew 'n makes ye vibrate t' the bone.

Black Friday

On Sunday 4 May at 8pm, ship open from 7.30pm

All aboard the good ship Black Friday - join her crew and captain Tom for another stormy crossing of the Celtic sea of folk-punk. We don't know where we're going and we don't know when we'll get there but we'll have some fun along the way...

The six strong, unstoppable Black Friday play a foot-stomping mix of high energy, home-brew folk-punk and celtic tunes, travelling across Cornwall and lands far beyond. They have had crowds jumping at some of europes biggest festivals, including Glastonbury, Boomtown, Donau-insel fest and Electric Picnic. They have recorded a live BBC session at Maida Vale Studios and broken a Guiness world record - 30 gigs in 12 hours!

Their music is influenced by their Irish and Cornish roots and their folk heroes. Catchy original songs and take on folk favourites by the likes of Flogging Molly and Pogues will keep you dancing all night.

Tickets £25 each and are available here: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/goldenhindbrixhamltd/1608114

We are really looking forward to host these events and look forward to an amazing weekend!
